Managing a Large Control Panel Project for Battery Manufacturer

We recently took on a project to fabricate and assemble 94 control panels for a large battery manufacturer. The company was adding safety modifications to its production process where new batteries are fed with an initial charge.

The project required hole cutouts of stainless-steel enclosures. Stainless steel can be difficult to cut, as it is labor intensive and doesn’t leave much room for error.

This is where FrommConnect was able to bring value to the customer. Our Hoffman ModCenter delivers precise, consistent, and repeatable panel hole cuts and is more efficient and safer than cutting by hand.

In addition to the hole cutouts, the customer also needed highly specialized hardware installed that was purchased from another company. Our team was able to accommodate this request during the assembly process.

The customer did not install the panels all at once. Keeping the finished panels at their facility would have taken up valuable space and opened the potential for damage. To provide additional value, our team worked within the customer’s timeline, stored the finished panels at our warehouse and shipped the panels as needed.

Does your facility need a large number of control panels fabricated? FrommConnect can help.
