Partnering with Major Healthcare Facility to Keep Boilers Running

A mechanical contractor working for a large healthcare facility recently contacted us about one of the facility’s boilers not working.

The breakdown could cause several operational problems. The boilers power the heating system and provide hot water for hospital functions such as sterilizing equipment.

The programmable logic controller (“PLC”) which ran the boiler had failed. The model was discontinued by Rockwell Automation, so our team replaced it with a new CompactLogix PLC and integrated a new Panelview Plus 7 HMI.

The installation and program conversion of a PLC is a technical process. Most electrical contractors and maintenance staff don’t have the experience or know-how to successfully diagnose problems or manage replacement.

That’s where we come in. FrommConnect partners with contractors to complement their skill set. We have years of experience installing, programming, replacing, and maintaining automation equipment. If you need help with your next project, contact us.
